September is National Preparedness Month

September is National Preparedness Month and the 2022 theme is, “A lasting legacy.” The life you’ve built is worth protecting! Multiple governmental entities are encouraging everyone to prepare for disasters to create a lasting legacy for you and your family. The purpose of National Preparedness Month is to encourage Americans to take steps to plan and prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses, and communities that could happen at any time. National Preparedness Month is recognized each September to promote family and community disaster planning now and throughout the year. As we continue to respond to higher prices and food shortages there is no better time to be involved than this September.
